WELCOME TO LAKE MURRAY POST

Comradery - Service - Commitment
As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group.  Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in the Persian Gulf, Korea, Kosovo, the war on terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.

DONATE TO LAKE MURRAY POST

Our programs support our service members while they are on the front line, as they are being discharged and long after they return. Your tax-deductible donation will be immediately directed to the VFW programs where your support is most urgently needed.

Announcements

1.  Post Menu Prices:  The Post menu prices will go into effect sometime this holiday weekend.  As mentioned at the Membership Meeting, the cost of items is requiring the Post to adjust some of the menu prices.  As approved by the Members, the largest increase will be close to $2 on the burgers.  Other increases are between $0.20-$0.75 depending on the item.  We are not trying to break anyone's budget or make huge profits, just trying to stay within a small profit margin vice losing money on every sale.  It should also be noted that bar prices may also need to be adjusted.  To date, the House Committee has not presented anything to the membership concerning the bar prices.

2.  Updates from the last Membership Meeting:  In an effort to be more transparent. the Post is updating Members through this website and the "Members Only" section.
     - Members can log into the "Members Only" section and click "Issue for Member Consideration" to see updates concerning the J.B. Martin land next to the Post.
     - We purchased and installed a new commercial griddle in the kitchen.  As approved by the members, this griddle will provide a safer cooking environment with the griddle's built-in drip pan.
     - The network improvements consisting of a dedicated switch rack has been installed in the office.  All the WiFi access points are now operational throughout the Post.  The new 24-port switch is installed and fully wired and functioning!
     -  The new kitchen air conditioner is in and working!  Our cooks are cooler and happier which leads to Great Food!

If you have feedback, questions, or just want to see if you can contact us, use the "Contact Us" form!  We will respond.
