New: The Lake Murray VFW Post 6740 has purchased and implemented a digital sign in system versus using the old paper sign in sheets. The system is called "Lobbytrack".
Why? The Lake Murray VFW Post 6740 is a tax-exempt, private, veteran establishment using a non-profit (Private Club) Liquor License (PLC). Under S.C. Code ยง 61-6-1600, Lake Murray VFW Post 6740 is only authorized to sell liquor by the drink to members and guests. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) will write violations using the mentioned code. To ensure compliance with our PLC, a more robust sign in process and procedure has been established.
To be served, all members and guests are required to sign in. The Lake Murray VFW Post 6740 Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), require guests to have a sponsoring member. If the guest's sponsor departs, they need to depart. If another member wishes to sponsor that guest, the guest will sign out and then sign in again with their new sponsoring member being identified.
